Experiencing intrusive thoughts, “sticky” habits, or repetitive urges can feel hard to interrupt, sometimes leading to cycles of avoidance, over-control, or all-or-nothing patterns. This counselling group offers a supportive, neuro-aff irming space to explore these experiences with others who relate, while strengthening self-compassion and reducing shame.
Together, we will use an ACT-informed, mindfulness- and values-informed approach to understand thought–behaviour loops, build awareness without getting pulled in, and practice flexible responses to diff icult thoughts and urges. Through grounding exercises, guided reflections, and collaborative discussions, participants will explore practical tools they can apply in daily life, all at a gradual pace that honours sensory and emotional needs.
