Our passionate team of graduate mental health clinicians (Psychotherapists, Social Workers, Canadian Certified Counsellors, Creative Arts Therapists) come to you on-site or invite you into our space to provide tailored Neurodiversity-Awareness workshops.
All of our workshops are developed using evidence-based research (i.e. using peer-reviewed literature & drawing from innovative models and approaches).
We offer workshops to
- students in mainstream classrooms
- students in specialized programs, WOTP, Aim High
- Professionals (teachers, educators and support staff).
Elementary aged students
Creativity for All workshop is a workshop dedicated to helping children explore the importance of connection, belonging, empathy for self and other through collaborative, hands-on creative activities.
High-school aged students
Neurological Belongingness (Identity, Empathy & Self-compassion) workshop is a dynamic workshop designed for teens to explore the intersection of identity, belonging and connection. Through interactive discussions and creative expression, participants will reflect on how neurological diversity and connection shape their world and their sense of self. The workshop emphasizes the importance of belonging, empathy & self-compassion.
Professionals (teachers, educators, support staff)
Neurodivergent-Affirming Practice workshops are designed to equip staff, teachers, and professionals with the tools and knowledge to meet the diverse needs of the communities they serve, while fostering a Neurodivergent-Affirming practice and environment.
The aim is to increase sensitivity to Neurodivergent needs, understand diverse neurological processing styles, recognize the importance of caregiver well-being, build skills and understanding of Neurodivergent development, explore tools & strategies, and ultimately enhance the capacity to support diverse learners.
Parents and Caregivers
Pathways to Support workshop is designed to offer support to parents & caregivers of neurodivergent children and youth, providing a space to explore a wide range of topics that address their unique needs. These include, but are not limited to: understanding rights, laws, and financial supports, sensory processing, and the importance of fostering secure attachment for healthy development.
